Andrea Wilson, MD, MPH, is an integrative general practitioner and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Family Practice, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of British Columbia, Canada and Integrative Fellow at the University of Arizona, Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine in Arizona, USA. Dr. Wilson believes in the importance of the relationship between the practitioner and the patient, focusing on the whole person, utilizing evidence based interventions and making use of all appropriate therapeutic and lifestyle approaches, health care professionals, and disciplines to achieve optimal health and healing. Health promotion and the prevention illness is paramount and effective interventions that are natural and less invasive are utilized whenever possible.
Dr. Wilson graduated with a bachelor of science, first class honours in psychology, from the University of Calgary in 2006, master of public health from the University of British Columbia in 2011, medical school at the University of Calgary in 2016, and residency as a Clinician Scholar in the Northern/Remote Family Medicine stream at the University of Manitoba in 2020.
Her availability for appointments at Yaletown Integrative Clinic is on Wednesdays and Thursdays each week, which can be in-person, telehealth/video or telephone.
